Performance Inokulacija (Inoculation) at LVP’25
The performative act, or the practice of transmitting disease to a healthy person by inserting infectious material into their body, usually for the purpose of inducing immunity to the disease, is what Jošt engages with in this year’s Lovinac Performance Nights call on the theme of “what is left of nature” and “what is left of the natural”.
Jošt identifies what helps immunity in his immediate environment, and what are the natural infectious materials that people have been introducing into themselves for centuries, following research and medical statistics according to which children raised in polycultural small households, with livestock fed in a natural way, have better immunity due to beneficial bacteria found all around them, unlike children who grew up separated from nature and the natural, who were deprived of these exposures.
Inoculation is performed at Lovinac Performance Nights at Center for Creative Solution using its permacultural garden on 25th of July, 2025.
