Upcoming iCommons Summit in 2007 will happen in Dubrovnik, Croatia, between 15th and 17th of June. Primary conference venue will be tower Revelin and secondary conference and primary performance venue will be the ancient quarantine, Lazareti.

Incubated by Creative Commons, iCommons is an organisation with a broad vision to develop a united global commons front by collaborating with open content, access to knowledge, open access publishing and free culture communities around the world.

Using the annual iCommons Summit as the main driver of this vision, iCommons will feature projects that encourage collaboration across borders and communities, and promote the tools, models and practice that facilitate universal participation in the cultural and knowledge domains.

One of the suggested programms on iCommons Summit 2007 is workshop ‘Brasil and Hrvatska – free cultures’ presentations that will promote exchange between projects in the areas of free culture, social technology, low tech labs and tactical media projets from Brasil and Croatia.

U Labinu, prostorijama KuC Lamparna, Labin Art Expressa, od 20. do 22. 12. traju radionice na kojima će se polaznici obućiti tehničku stranu i konceptualizaciju programa za slobodni internet radio.
Zadnjeg dana nastupa bend/projekt Zid.buke zajedno sa riječkim bendovima Strip Forbiden i Donar.

On 13th december GentleJunk co. is playing live at ( ( ( N O M U S I C ) ) ) F E S T I V A L X. at 14 h GMT+0 – Greenwich Time, together with Sonic Kitchen from Bremen, Germany.

(((NOMUSIC))) started on June 2001, according to the principle that a diffusion site on Internet should correspond to the representation of the singular performances of a new generation of artists, musicians, performers and other actors of the electronic scene. The creation of this open diffusion site proved to be necessary because of today’s difficulty to perform disembodied concerts of electronic music on stage, in a classical frontal (actor/audience) representation space.
Festival will start at 00:00 and last till 24:00 with artists playing from all over the world on every full hour.

[photopress:FRSMmostar.jpg,full,alignleft] Workshop on free interent radio is held in the ‘Radio Room’ at OKC Abrašević, Mostar from 14h to 19h, 6th to 9th of November. Participants are introduced to the concept of the free radio, tecnology of Free open Source Software, they are engaged in recording and production as well as programing of the broadcast. OKC media will join FRSM network soon.

Zadnjeg dana uvečer radionice se završavaju nastupom križevčana VisitorQ, Robert Radamant i GentleJunk co.
