Steamboat Switzerland) delivering the whole of the harmonics by
himself, and a high-speed drummer outright adrenalin ebullient (Peter
Conradin Zumthor from Chur, member of the Freenoise- Band Krakatau)
make AZEOTROP to a metal spectacle of a very particular kind.
AZEOTROP will finish festival EEII06 and MMKamp 2006 by their performance in CC Lamparna on 26th of August.

MMKamp2006 & EEII06 brochure and 2 DVDs are in process of designing and editing.
First DVD will contain short overview video of the happenings during MMKamp and EEII and ruff video material of the music concerts that are offered for reediting or reusing in other projects. There will also be audio material: interviews and presentations recordings (to stream over internet) and manuals for streaming, FOSS, free media, new media...
Second DVD will contain the full length performance TEST2:DECONSTRUCTIONOFCONSTRUCTION.Z128.All the material will be released under appropriate Creative Commons licence.
Both DVDs can be ordered at
Price of one DVD will vary from 10 to 20 € depending on production and shiping costs.

All popular meganise band Wall.of.sound has changed its name during last escapades in club Lamparna, where it performed on 11th of August. the gig was called 'OneMan gig 4 Noone'. Unfortunately band BUG from insbruck and DJ Guignol Dangeroux were prevented to play by the higher force.

was closed on Sunday with collaborative performance of Italian
'math-noise' band ODRZ and in big step advancing project by name
'Zid.buke' . Performance was layered by meanings of
consumerism/dependence/political bracing. Kruno jošt and Denis
Mikšić have cut the Zastava 12 car in parts, the car that has been
a symbol of average Yugoslavian family that raised a loan to buy such
a car for going to holidays.
In
one week of MMK lots of workshops, couple of film projections,
introductions in tactical media and collaborative and FOSS.
Product
of MMK will be two DVDs: a DVD with manuals how to start a internet
radio station and other educational material, short movie about the
MMK, audio files such as interviews and audio recordings.

I mentioned a research paper done by Eleonora Oreggia and Jaromil for the Netherlands Media Art Institute. It's about (semi) opencodecs for internet video distribution and includes a comparison of he video quality of the different codecs with different targetbitrates. It also includes a script that shows how to do video ncoding of files from the commandline. The paper was presented attransmission.cc and will at some point be released under a creative ommons license.Anyone who's interested in this research paper can email me, I will end you the PDF.

Yesterday afternoon Jason Kahn held the workshop of making piezzo michrophone, and Marcell Mars today finished the workshop 'Audio na GNU/Linux platform' which started yesterday.
